Mountain Bike the Hidden Trails of Red Hill with the Brewers

On the final Sunday of GBW, Red Hill hosts a guided mountain bike ride around the trails of Red Hill with the Red Hill Riders mountain bike club. Followed by a social session of beer, barbecue and tales of extreme achievement.

Kicking off at 9am with coffee and a chat, you will grouped into riding ability to head off on a 3-4 hour ride around the hidden trails of Red Hill. Non riders welcome for the day.

  • Advanced "all mountain/gravity" ride, 20+km high fitness & MTB skills needed
  • Intermediate "XC" 15-20km single track/off road. Medium fitness with some MTB skills needed
  • Enticer 10-15km single track for those wanting to try off road for the first time. Medium fitness and reasonable cycling skills. • Non Riders - bring your walking shoes and take a FREE walk or run along the track (4km) to coffee, shopping or winery!

Recently the trails of Red Hill have become accessible to mountain biking due to the hard work of the Red Hill Riders mountain bike club. Ride the trails that have been planned and groomed by the club, and are now world class MTB terrain.

Come and try some of the best MTB terrain in Australia, right on the doorstop of a brewery!

We are obsessed about many things, beer firstly. Mountain biking is another. So we are stoked to share these two things with you in an awesome ride day, guided by the local club.

After the ride it's all social, with beer and food available to all riders and non-riders at bar prices.

All riders need own MTB suitable for their ride and helmets and will need to sign insurance requirements as per Mountain Biking Association that provide insurance.
