The Clifton Hill Brewpub has teamed up with the Merri Mashers to run a competition in which the brewer of the best Red or Black IPA was given the opportunity to brew a commercial quantity of their beer. Tim Martin was the winner of the competition, his beer, Redneck Falcon, a 6.8% Red IPA will be tapped for the first time at the dinner. The IPA will be released on the night and all attendees will be the first to try the beer and will be accompanied with a 3 course dinner with 4 of our hand crafted beers (including a barrel aged pale ale). There is also a free brewery tour available on the night. Tim Martin will discuss the winning beer and the requirements of taking a homebrew recipe to a commercial quantity. There is also the opportunity for a Q & A for both Tim and our Brewer.
