Having been named one of the top 20 beer festivals in the world last year by the prestigious American magazine, Beer Connoisseur, the GABS 2016 - Beer | Cider | Food Fest is back and hoping to live up to the hype with its biggest and best festival yet.
Started in 2011 by the guys behind the Local Taphouse beer bars in Melbourne and Sydney and Stomping Ground Brewing Co, GABS is a unique celebration of craft beer held each year in Melbourne, Sydney and now Auckland. It showcases hundreds of beers – including 120 ‘Festival Beers’ brewed specifically for the event, brewery stands, leading food vendors, beer and food education, fun activities, great entertainment - even an indoor Ferris wheel.
