For Good Beer Week 2016, Cask Off returns to its birthplace, Holgate Brewhouse. Cask off is all about enabling craft beer fans to get intimate with cask-conditioned ales. All ales will be served on stillage, that is the beer will be severed from casks that have been freshly tapped by the brewers.
Joining the Holgate brewers will be a number of guest brewers bringing their own versions of cask ale. Each brewer will tap their cask at the strike of noon and be on hand throughout the afternoon to chat about all things beer and brewing.
Located in Woodend on the Bendigo line, Holgate Brewhouse is just a 2 minute walk from the station, and, with admission including a BBQ of local meats (raised on brewer’s grain), live music and plenty of delicious cask ale.
Cask Off 2016 promises to be an event not to be missed.
