Join us for an event filled day of beer brewing and wine culture. Start the day with a full mash brew from 9am. Using our 10 Hectolitre brewing system to produce a premium one-off fusion beer, together with our own ‘cane-cut’ Gewürztraminer grapes.
A full explanation and educational commentary will be conducted by members of the Bayside Brewing Club as the day and beer production progresses.
The resultant beer (Your Beer) will be commercially marketed and sold throughout Melbourne retail and on-premise establishments, and at our own brewery at Dromana. Participants will receive their own commemorative bottle and T-shirt to mark the occasion, and will be invited to a post-harvest debrief on 25th June to celebrate the release of the beer.
On the day of brewing we will provide a BBQ lunch of German fare, together with a full tasting of our premium HIX beers. Purchase discounts will also be available on the day to participants. The event will finish at approximately 5pm.
